While the Office for Belonging, Engagement, and Mission serves as a supportive hub for addressing issues of belonging, engagement, mission, and growth at Notre Dame, we partner with many campus units to carry out this work, including:

Notre Dame Human Resources

Notre Dame Human Resources collaboratively provides a foundation of expertise, resources, and services that empower the people who power Notre Dame.

Office of Institutional Equity

The Office of Institutional Equity is committed to promoting an equitable educational and work environment that is free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in accordance with Title VII of The Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, other applicable federal and state laws, and University policy.

Office of Mission Engagement and Church Affairs

The Office of Mission Engagement and Church Affairs cultivates the University’s Catholic and Holy Cross mission and catalyzes Notre Dame’s service to the Church.

Office of the Provost

Keona Lewis, assistant provost, helps ensure that the academic core is an environment where faculty and staff feel a strong sense of belonging and respect and where differences are celebrated, partnering closely with the vice president and associate provost for faculty affairs.

Student Affairs

The area of Belonging and Engagement within the Division of Student Affairs aims to nurture belonging and inclusion among all students while further engaging underrepresented voices throughout the Notre Dame community.

Comprised of the Sister Thea Bowman Center, Multicultural Student Programs and Services, the Gender Relations Center, and the Office of Student Enrichment, Belonging and Engagement exists to serve a growing diverse student population at Notre Dame by providing mentoring opportunities, peer engagement, and resources in support of the University’s Catholic, Holy Cross mission.
